About Us
Award-winning premium wines from Wagram in Lower Austria - that's what we stand for.
Lower Austria is known internationally and nationally for its excellent wines.
With around 60 percent of the total Austrian vineyard area, it is the largest quality wine-growing region in the country and enjoys an excellent reputation for top-quality wines typical of their origin.
Where the Red Veltliner is at home
The Wagram wine region is characterized by its distinctive escarpment: Loess soil rises up to 40 meters high between the wine villages of Feuersbrunn, Fels, Kirchberg am Wagram, and Großweikersdorf. The larger part of the region lies here north of the Danube, with a smaller portion extending south around Tulln an der Donau and Klosterneuburg.
In the Wagram wine region, we cultivate 6 hectares of vines that thrive and mature in the best soils. The wines are then vinified at our winery in Hippersdorf.
The Wagram region is famous for its rich loess soils, which impart a unique spiciness, richness, and creaminess, especially to Grüner Veltliner and Roter Veltliner. Hippersdorf is also centrally located, making it ideal for capturing this typicity in the bottle.
